Brea is thrilled to be entering her 19th year at BAPP, where she has had the privilege of working across all three preschool classrooms, with a special place in her heart for the older 4s and 5s. Her three children — Luca (2006–2008), Maris (2008–2011), and Amalie (2015–2018) — are all proud BAPP alumni, making her investment in this community both personal and professional in the truest sense. Her approach to early childhood education has been shaped by nearly two decades of classroom practice alongside dedicated professional development, including coursework in early childhood education and a visit to The Blue School in New York City, an internationally recognized leader in early childhood education through intermediate levels. The Blue School is also known for a curriculum that focuses on project-based learning, creative expression, and socio-emotional development. She brings to the preschool the perspective of an educator, a parent, an alumni family, and a longtime community member. That’s a rare combination that reflects the full heart of BAPP. Brea loves spending time with her family and her 2-year-old grandson, Kash, who will be attending BAPP in the fall. It’s a true full circle moment! She also loves going to concerts, visiting the beach, playing in the forest, watching soccer, and chowing down on a good plate of food!
