Our Class (2 day – Monday and Wednesday) – The Chickadee class is a small group experience for our youngest students – those just turning two! The parents have the opportunity to work in the classroom on a rotating basis, which allows them to learn the routine and philosophy of the school. Parent helpers also assist with preparing the room in the morning, providing snack for the class, and cleaning up at the end of our school day.
This is a year full of firsts for many of the children and parents. The space is full of opportunities that encourage children to experiment and problem solve with new materials and in new ways while making friends and developing a sense of community. The room is full of singing and laughter as we make our way through the morning. It is truly a joyful experience!
Our Daily Rhythm:
- Drop-Off: 9:30 – 9:45am
- Open Play: 9:30 – 10:30
- Snack, Story, and Songs: 10:30 – 11:00
- Outside Play: 11:00 – 12:00
- Pick-Up: 11:45 – 12:00pm
