Co-Op Class (2 day) – for children 2 – 2½ years old. Five children learn with one teacher and a parent helper. Classes take place on Monday and Wednesday.
Parent Responsibilities in Co-Op: In our co-op class, each family is required to work as an assistant to the teacher on a regularly scheduled basis. Generally, a parent/caregiver works for one week of classes in a rotation with other families in the class. In addition to providing assistance in the classroom, the working adult will provide a healthy snack to be shared by the children in the class.
Why Co-Op? Our co-op class offers a unique first-school environment for our youngest children. Children benefit from the support and presence of their family in the classroom, the classroom benefits from a low child to grown-up ratio, and each family involved benefits from lower tuition costs.
