At BAPP, we believe the forest is an essential classroom – one that plays a vital role in supporting children’s developing minds and bodies. At this age, children learn best through play, and time spent in nature has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety while supporting overall health and well-being. Our forest is a central part of our curriculum, offering children the opportunity to explore, discover, and learn within the natural environment. With thoughtful guidance, children develop the ability to assess and navigate risk, collaborate with peers, and build confidence through independent exploration.
Outdoor play strengthens balance, coordination, concentration, and spatial awareness, while also supporting fine motor development. Just as importantly, it nurtures creativity, curiosity, and a deep sense of connection to the world around them.

Through shared experiences in nature, children expand their vocabulary, develop social and communication skills, and grow in self-awareness and resilience. They learn to respect and appreciate both nature and one another. At BAPP, we are committed to raising kind, confident, and capable children—young leaders who are curious, collaborative, and equipped with the problem-solving skills to navigate the world around them.
