I am excited to be teaching another year at BAPP. BAPP has a special place in my heart. I found BAPP when I was looking for a school for my son Elias. He attended BAPP from 2003-2005. I created the studio in 2004 when I started working at BAPP. I have been a part of the community ever since. I have dedicated much of my life to early childhood and art education. I have two degrees in art from VCU (craft and art education). I have over 35 years of teaching experience and have taught and designed curricula for various groups from young children to senior citizens in a variety of approaches including Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Montessori. I am active in the Richmond dance communities and enjoy gardening and being in the natural world. I also enjoy boating, hiking and camping with my husband, Jimmy.
